Toddler 101 - 3 Classes, 2 hr each, $75 pp

Toddlers... the perfect example of the duality of the human experience. Curious while also feral. Adorable and terrifying. They are so much fun to be around until they fall apart, leaving you feeling all sorts of things. In this class, we will work through all of those feelings (yours and your child's!). We will learn specific strategies to help with managing behavior and emotions.

Development

This class will start with a conversation about the toddler body and brain and then use this lens to look at all aspects of development, including physical, mental, and linguistic milestones. We will learn ways to encourage development and create reasonable expectations for their behavior.

Positive Discipline

In this class, you will learn methods for setting reasonable boundaries (and holding them!). We will talk about how to prevent and defuse tantrums, handle challenging behaviors like hitting and biting, and create sensory experiences that meet both you and your child's needs.

Routines

This class will focus on routines surrounding feeding, sleep, and potty training. We will learn the best research on feeding, how to troubleshoot your individual child's sleep needs, and choose a potty training method that works best for your family.

Infant Parenting - 2 hours, $30 pp

You have to parent infants? How am I supposed to make intentional parenting choices when I'm in survival mode? This class will give you an overview of your child's development and teach you how to set the stage for your long-term relationship with them. This class does not contain any medical advice about infant care.

Development/Milestones & Routines

This class will start with a conversation about the infant brain and then use this lens to look at all aspects of development, including physical, mental, and linguistic milestones. We will learn ways to encourage development while also finding awe in every day moments. We will look at developing routines that help both you and your child thrive. Using our developmental lens, we will create reasonable expectations for our child's growth and changes. We will discuss feeding, diapering, sleep, hygiene and play.

Siblings Without Rivalry

This course follows Adele Faber's Siblings Without Rivalry book and workshop. This class is coming soon.
